I am Justine Kirkpatrick Sterling, a new New Yorker transplanted from Northern California via New Hampshire. Currently I attend NYU, trying as hard as I might to get my masters in journalism with a concentration in magazines with a food/drink beat.

The city that never sleeps is a hungry city and a thirsty city. I'm out to find the deliciously awesome secrets that New York hides when the sun goes down and the neon lights up. As a student/wine store sales person/intern, I don't have much free time when the sun's out. So I've reconciled myself to night-owling it. If New York is good for one thing, it's nightlife, original night life, like night life involving Opera-inclined clowns or bars that double as laundromat....(okay the first one is a pipe dream, the second actually exists).
